Amp'd-st from guitarpcb, based on the amp eleven overdrive which is an input boost(cot 50/electra) and a nice overdrive(timmy). The overdrive is nice and can go from a nice clean boost to a heavier crunch, the bass and tone knob are quite interactive as well. The boost is a simple dirty boost that can push the overdrive and give it more grit but it can also be used on its own which is a nice feature.

A Pedal is Born

This blog is dedicated to my love of building DIY effects pedals. I have been building for a few years now and I enjoy building for myself as well as doing custom builds for other people. The effect above was one I made for myself and it is basically the Fire Red version of the Big Muff.

The thing sounds great, the gain and tone controls can dial in anything from a vintage sounding fuzz to a heavy tight distortion, with quite a few nice settings in between.
